This most recent how-to guide from Mortgage Growth System contains precise and detailed instructions, designed to be used by Mortgage Loan Officers and others who need it to acquire quality, but affordable leads from Facebook with as little stress as possible.

Mortgage Growth System states that this easy to follow guide provides all of the information necessary to fully understand the topic and to get good results.

The Full How-To Guide Covers: Use Of Bait & Switch Tactics – Using bait & switch tactics like giveaways or offers that are too good to be true. Leads need to know what they’re getting into before they enter their otherwise converting that lead will be nearly impossible. The guide also covers why using Facebook’s own built-in lead forms is a bad idea – Facebook makes it easy to generate leads without technology know-how using built-in lead forms that capture people’s contact info, but using this allows people to to become a lead far too easily. A lead form allows a person to click a button and import their contact information too easily. Facebook’s policy alos does not allow qualifying questions to be asked, which are important to determine if the lead is a good candidate or not. Lastly the guide covers the out-of-date tactic of luring people in with home details – This is the most common lead generation tactic and it’s probably the worst of all. Just because someone wants to look at a home doesn’t mean they’re seriously considering buying a home or need a mortgage. Some people just want to see a nice looking home or what’s for sale in their town. It’s important to find people who are ready to do the harder part of the process which is getting financed and they need to know that’s the exact thing they’re signing up for.

When asked for more information about the guide, Brandon Robertson, the CEO at Mortgage Growth System said: “I’ve helped several hundred MLOs create a predictable growth by generating quality leads for them or teaching them how to generate them for themselves. Having generated well over 1,000,000 mortgage leads, we’ve discovered there are things must do and there are also things you should never do to attract qualified, serious buyers or refinance clients. A lot of marketers out there are doing things the easy way and using out-of-date strategies that some other old school marketer has taught them. When we started our agency, we didn’t want to go faith that what others did was the right approach, so we tested tons of approaches to figure out what how to generate a true, quality lead. We’ve found that a lot of MLOs who’ve used Facebook or hired an agency were very disappointed with their results, but when you look at the tactics of these failed campaigns, it’s clear that these tactics were all on my personal list of Lead Generation No-No’s. I can’t stress enough its not Facebook that’s the issue. It’s the strategy used. Everyone’s on Facebook. Good clients are there too. You just can’t bait and switch – you can’t make it too easy to become a lead – and you can’t lure people in to learn learn more about a home and expect good leads out that. When you do those things, you’re guaranteed to get disinterested leads that aren’t serious and, in many cases, leads who don’t even remember entering their information.”

Brandon also says: “There’s more to the equation than this. A tiny improvement can boost conversions by 1%. When you’ve got 10 tiny improvements in the process, these add up to significant improvements. There’s a lot of bad advice out there that you should make it easy to become a lead – that there should be little friction. We’ve found that without enough friction, you get leads that aren’t serious. You don’t want to overdo it, but a person who’s serious about buying or refinancing will jump through a few hoops and they should. And if they won’t, you don’t want them. After all, we’re talking about the biggest financial decisions of a person’s life. They need to be serious and willing to put a little time and effort into the process.”

Brandon continues with some last thoughts: “I also see a lot of people dabbling with lead generation with little or improper knowledge on running ads People boost a few posts thinking this is going to get the job done. Everyone finds out it doesn’t – it never works. Boosted posts are technically ads, but they aren’t designed to generate leads. To properly generate leads with Facebook you need to use their ads manager platform. You also must select the right objectives, thereby telling Facebook what you want to happen. Retargeting or remarketing should really be part of the process too so you can recapture people who considered your offer but didn’t take action the first time. Doing it right is the only way to get a good return on investment, but it’s worth going the extra mile.”
