About We Love Kids Telethon:
The We Love Kids Telethon is an event designed to support the mission of the Shaken Baby Alliance. Once upon a time, in 1998, there were three moms whose children became victims of Shaken Baby Syndrome. They searched for resources and support to help them get through but found nothing. They decided this was not okay, and not wanting other parents and children to go through the same horror, they formed a plan to halt all forms of physical abuse of children in Texas and beyond. The Shaken Baby Alliance (SBA) is a not-for-profit organization that has developed partnerships across the state and nation. For over twenty years, it has supported the needs of the children and their families, developed nationally recognized forensic training programs, prevention and educational material and courses, and a case consultation agency for professionals working in the child physical abuse field.
