Actors Access Profile Support With Film TV Industry Experts Feedback Launched

Studio for Performing Arts LA is now offering actors online pitching sessions with industry VIPs. Sessions include support to revamp participants Actors Access and similar talent profiles.

Studio For Performing Arts LA’s latest program, “The Actor’s Pitch,” is available online and accessible to up-and-coming actors across the country. The focus of the session is to help performers discover and develop their brand as an actor, and then project this brand on their acting profiles and when making first impressions with fellow industry professionals.

The launch coincides with the increasing importance of branding for young actors in a heavily saturated talent pool. Featuring insights from acting teachers, studio heads, directors and popular working actors, the conversation suggests that more than ever, aspiring actors must nail down what makes them distinctly unique as a performer to accordingly hone their range or character type.

As such, Studio for Performing Arts LA and Walid Chaya are proud to be offering “The Actor’s Pitch.” In these two-hour sessions, participating actors will revamp their pitch as well as their Actors Access profiles.

The online sessions are structured around Walid Chaya’s patented ABC of pitching, which focuses on developing an actor’s “Ammo”: their profile when submitting for a casting or for representation, their “Brand” and their “Connections”.

After the session, once actors have revised and improved their pitch and profile, their new slate will be sent to three industry VIPs. These VIPs will then provide actors with concrete written notes. Moreover, participating performers will be able to select which type of industry experts they wish to receive feedback from, whether it be casting professionals, film directors, talent agents or managers.

Upcoming sessions are available to interested performers on various dates.

Studio for Performing Arts LA was founded by Walid Chaya, an award-winning actor-director and creative consultant. They offer performers a number of coaching and consultation services, including acting bootcamps, monthly mentorships, demo reel productions and more.

A spokesperson for the studio said, “With ‘The Actor’s Pitch,’ you will discover your brand, how to market your online acting profiles, and present yourself to make a strong, first impression. Discover how prominent experts in the industry view you and prepare for a successful on-camera career!”
