Following the announcement, GrantMe creates a clear road map and plan designed to improve a student’s acceptance odds while also reducing their stress and anxiety levels. The academic consultation service focuses on key dimensions of the application process, like the application essay, and they also provide general academic coaching and university preparation workshops.
While Canadian acceptance rates have traditionally sat at around 45-55%, the last few years have showcased that the pattern is changing and that the nation’s most reputable and esteemed schools – those who typically produce more in-demand, highly paid, and successful graduates – now often have acceptance rates under 15%. This includes top schools like the University of Ottawa and the University of Calgary.
GrantMe understands that nowadays, university admissions in Canada are increasingly stressful and complex and that students need the right advice in order to stand out from their peers and be admitted into one of the country’s top schools. As such, it is now more incumbent upon students to make their profile and their application stand out from a pack of other hopeful students.
This is what GrantMe seeks to assist with. After the consultants review a student’s overall performance, grades and work, and volunteering resume, they can begin to develop an accurate profile that will reveal which schools are likely to accept them, and for which programs.
Students from Grade 9 and up are encouraged to utilize their service, because when it comes to university, admission preparation is key.
GrantMe also derives its name from the assistance they give to students who are looking to secure funding and scholarships for the duration of their undergraduate and graduate degrees.
A spokesperson for the top education consultants and career counsellors said, “GrantMe’s online consulting programs are designed to save you time and give you a clear plan to follow to increase your chances of university and scholarship success. Students who work with GrantMe double their odds of getting into their top choice university, win more funding and save nearly 45 hours of university prep each year.”
