Bonsai Finance is pleased to announce Sofia Gibson as the 2019 Veterans Scholarship Winner. Ms. Gibson will be awarded $1,000 from the Bonsai Finance team to help her further her education and cover associated expenses. Sofia is the daughter of a current US Marine Corps officer.

The Bonsai Finance Veterans Scholars Award celebrates veteran and dependent students who strive for excellence in their educational goals and their lives. The scholarship provides a one-time payment of $1,000 for current or future education costs. To be eligible for the scholarship program, students must be dependents of a veteran or active duty member of the U.S. Military service. Eligible applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who are already enrolled or will enroll at an accredited college, university, or post-graduate technical or vocational school.
“In addition to providing Ms. Gibson with this year’s award, we are thrilled to be looking forward to the next award we will hand out for the next school year,” continued Smith.
