Ify Chuke-Nwobi shares her story in Women Who Own It

“Miracle In The Green empowers, uplifts, and creates opportunities for communities globally.”

Winter Springs, Florida U.S.A – July 17, 2020 – Ify Chuke-Nwobi, Founder and CEO of Miracle in the Green health and wellness products, has featured on ‘Women Who Own It’ in an inspiring interview with online publication, Women Owned. Women Owned is an initiative from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and WEConnect International to empower female entrepreneurs and support women-owned businesses.

In the uplifting article, Chuke-Nwobi reveals how she discovered the benefits of the African Moringa Oleifera plant, shares the story behind her business, and divulges the secrets of her success, happiness, and creativity.

It has been seven years since Chuke-Nwobi began experimenting with skincare creams for herself and her four children. Her children were suffering from eczema, and she was recovering from harsh cancer treatments. As such, she sought products that were free from toxins and safe to use on even the most sensitive skin. The creams needed to be effective at moisturizing and soothing dry or sore areas, made with sustainably-sourced ingredients and practices, and eco-friendly.

After seven years of testing formulas composed of only the finest, natural ingredients, Mummy’s Miracle was born. Mummy’s Miracle is a brand of health food and skincare products, including baby skincare items, baby wipes, diapers, hair and beauty products, and household products.

Items in the range are formulated with potent oil from Moringa seeds. In addition, they are made with renewable resources and plant-derived ingredients and feature recyclable packaging components. Every batch undergoes microbial analysis to guarantee the highest possible quality.

Chuke-Nwobi describes herself as a grateful person and a lover of all things Moringa. She identifies the three key traits that define her as courage, resilience, and faith. Her story is certainly one of determination and tenacity, without which she may never have transformed her idea for a business specializing in Moringa-based products into the success it is today.

But it hasn’t been an easy journey for Chuke-Nwobi, who says she has had to rely on her God-given instincts to survive what can be a lonely road to success in business. It can be difficult for young female entrepreneurs to start and grow a business, says Chuke-Nwobi, because they are not taken seriously, or their perspective is belittled or disregarded.

“Believe in your why,” says Chuke-Nwobi when asked what advice she would give to other women entrepreneurs. “Allow the itch which led you to start your business to guide you. The road to success is long and winding, so brace yourself.”

Fortunately, communities such as WBENC can make all the difference to female business owners by facilitating a sharing of knowledge and providing them with innovative ideas and encouragement. And, while the process of certification as a Woman Owned business is not an easy one, the benefits are plenty.

Perks include networking events, increased visibility, access to mentors and industry-leading fairs and conferences, and inclusion in the WBENS-Certified online directory. Consumers that support the businesses in the directory are investing in women’s economic empowerment, gender equality, vibrant communities, and the growth of the economy overall.

Today, as a business owner, Chuke-Nwobi is continually striving to find ways to positively impact the world and pave the way for a healthier, happier future. Miracle in the Green has empowered women and children in the U.S, Nigeria, and Kenya with acts of kindness that ensure individuals feel loved and valued. Recently, Chuke-Nwobi stepped in to help villagers in Nigeria who were financially affected by COVID-19, and she supplied nurses on the frontline with Mother’s Day treats.
