Initially founded as a security company in 2009 by Micky Ahuja ( who was working at the time as a guard), MA Services Group has evolved into a national company, with a head office in Melbourne, Victoria and now provides a wide range of facilities services. These include Retail Security and Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Public Safety, Cleaning and Customer Service.

From the outset, MAServices Group’s company values have helped shape the organisation and acted as a guiding light for employees. So what values are we talking about?

To foster diversity, MASG has implemented initiatives which identify, support, and nurture talented individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds.

They are proud participants in the Nabenet Integrated Workplace Health Services program which helps to get previously injured workers back into the workforce. Suitable candidates are eased back into the workplace by performing no more than 20 scheduled hours a week until they’re ready to complete a full week’s work.

They also have an Indigenous and Disadvantaged Backgrounds Recruitment plan in place which aims to provide apprenticeships for people from disadvantaged and indigenous backgrounds. Their target is a 2% indigenous background workforce by the end of the next financial year.

Besides these core values, MASG is committed to achieving better gender equality within an industry that is predominantly male. As such they are actively doing all they can to get more women on-board.

Their people and the teams they create at each contract are key to the long term and sustainable relationships MASG has with each of their customers.

How MASG serve the community

MA Services Group are committed to their communities and act as responsible corporate citizens by broadening their skills, experience, and outlook through being active within their communities and helping to protect the environment.

They have also gained a reputation for giving back to the community by supporting various local charities.

In November last year, for example, they attended a charity ball organised by the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation which was set up to commemorate the many Victoria police officers who have died in the line of duty. All proceeds went towards the upgrade of the women’s and children’s precinct at the Angliss Hospital in Ferntree Gully.

Team members from MA Services Group also played their part and raised money for cancer research last year by holding a ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ event which was a great success.
