“Is it really the right time to change your life during a global pandemic?” was the question Willema asked herself. Truthfully, her shift began in 2016 after experiencing severe injuries and surgeries. Her descent into a health journey revealed serious medical problems. Although she managed to escape an amputation and a stroke event, other illnesses lay in wait. After re-evaluating her life holistically, she now lives in harmony with her aligned values and life-purpose guiding her path.
Willema’s mantra following her experience is:
“When life brings us to our knees, we can choose to sit or stand up.” – Karaté Kid
With this book project she believes that it is everyone’s individual role to play our parts in creating the new era and invites people to join in community to do so, leveraging the knowledge, expertise, and insights of this book, which will start empowering conversations.
