Derek Walz takes new position as Vice President of Business Development for HearWorks. Derek’s thirteen successful years with Starkey Hearing Technologies included various sales and business development roles and most recently he was Director of Strategic Accounts.
HearWorks Co-Founders Tucker Worster & Erik Sorenson expressed confidence that Derek Walz is ready to add significant value to HearWorks clients from his vast experience, expertise, and wealth of knowledge.

Derek’s new role will as VP of Business Development will allow HearWorks to expand its reach to clinics that are in need of private pay growth. In addition, Derek will oversee manufacturer relationships to directly benefit all HearWorks clients and will work closely with current HearWorks clients to improve results and grow their businesses.
In his time with Starkey, Derek was a master at building genuine relationships in nearly every segment of the industry. “Derek has a talent to connect with people and will be an instant asset to our clients,” said Worster.
Derek’s hire comes on the heels of significant expansion of HearWorks both from a client and services perspective. AuDStandard first acquired Paradigm Growth 360 earlier in the year and has recently announced the acquisition of a direct mail and automated fulfillment center now named PrintWorks to expand its current offerings to its clients.
