The app taps into emerging investment trends with stock collections focused around industries, social values, and personal interests
—
Gainy, a technology platform designed for Gen Z investors, announces a new toolkit, — Thematic Trading Fractional collections of stocks or TTFs – to help Gen Z invest in themes they believe in rather than picking individual stocks. To make this possible, Gainy provides investor access to insight into financial influencers who will create their Thematic Trading collections around the topics they want to support, such as Clean Energy, Inflation-proof or Monthly Dividend portfolio.
Gen Z has roughly $360B in disposable income and prefers to save and invest rather than spend. According to TradeRepublic, the younger generation predominantly invests in diversified products such as ETFs instead of individual stocks, because they are more secure. A McKinsey Research poll reveals that 90% of Gen Z believe that companies “have a responsibility to address environmental and social issues,” thus investing focused on personal values has become more important. According to Freetrade, 40% of Gen Z are seeking financial advice from influencers on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
There are more than 70 Thematic Trading Fractional collections already identified on the Gainy platform, and starting from 6th July influencers will gradually add new TTFs. The first to participate in the launch are the famous YouTuber TradingLab (75K followers), dividend guru Morten from Dividend Club (118K followers), and rising personal finance expert behind Organized Finance blog (12K followers).
“Gainy helps investors make informed decisions about where their money goes, by providing key information on which investments align with their values and interests. Gainy’s innovative TTF feature will help bring finance creators closer to their audiences by giving audiences an inside look into creator portfolios!” says the author of the Organized Finance blog.
“The app combines a diversity of classic funds, laser-focus on topics that matter and an analytics toolkit to empower and support investors’ decision-making. We believe Gainy can help cut through the noise on the market and simplify investing with Thematic Trading Fractional collections.” said Boris Dus, Gainy’s CEO.
At the first stage, general information on the stocks in Thematic Trading Fractional collections will be available where users can see the Match Score for their investment profile, performance over the time and structure of the TTF. Gainy has integration with all major brokers, so users can buy stocks directly. Gainy does not take orders from investors to buy or sell stocks and does not place orders with brokers, nor provide investment advice.
