The new car safe is designed to be a secure, invisible, lockable in-vehicle storage. Car owners can safely store their valuables in a hidden safe located inside the headrest.

Founder Irving Meisler conceptualized the new type of car storage to be a safe and convenient solution for car owners to hide their valuables. The interior of the Headrest Safe is covered in 1/2 inch foam rubber and is made of 18-gauge steel with a 16-gauge steel door. The lock, as well, is made of steel and features child-proof mechanisms to prevent children from accidentally tampering with it.
“When you bring your valuables with you in your car, they are not secure. You may feel nervous and anxious that your valuables are at risk of being stolen. But not with The Headrest Safe,” said Irving Meisler. “We’ll give you the power to store cash, valuables, medication, or anything else that’s important to you in your vehicle.”

The new accessory features a unique adjustable post system that can be moved to any width. This makes it suitable for any car or truck, regardless of make or brand. The Headrest Safe can replace any existing headrest and has a battery life of about a year.
As explained by Irving in a recent video, many car owners have difficulties storing their valuables, jewelry, or firearms. Often, they have to place them in the glove box, or worse, openly display them on the passenger seat. Not only is this unsafe, but it can attract unwarranted attention from thieves.
The safe itself is designed for the passenger side headrest for easy access by the driver. Driver’s side headrests without the safe are also available in a range of matching colors. The company also offers a corporate buying program for businesses that want multiple safes for their fleet.
All products have passed the Safety Integrity Level (SIL) measure for functional safety. As defined by IEC standard 61508, this determines how well an electronic system can avoid dangerous failures. Headrest Safe ships nationwide.
