August 18, 2020, West Linn, Oregon. The beginning of 2020 launched the culmination of two appliance repair industry veterans, KJ Page and Scott Sandie, to form WorksAgain, a unique company that serves both retail customers and outsources itself as a wholesale partner to leading appliance retailers.
The aggregate experience of the teams brought together spans over a hundred years of combined industry expertise in appliance repair operations and service. KJ Page, a US Navy Veteran specializes in the service and repair operations side of the business, while Scott Sandie, brings his expertise in business strategy and administrative execution as a human resources and operations executive.
KJ and Scott worked together for many years for another appliance company, then decided to join forces to bring together the highest level of repair expertise and best customer experience to those it serves. WorksAgain is comprised of a dedicated team of seasoned appliance repair and installation professionals that are all professionally vetted and factory certified to service and repair dozens of the leading appliance brands available throughout the US, including such notables as: Bosch, LG, Samsung, Jenn-Air, Fisher & Paykel, GE, Electrolux, Fridgidaire, Sub-Zero, Thermador, Wolf, Maytag and Whirlpool, just to name a few..
“Since completing my tour of duty with the US Navy, I’ve spent most of my professional life fixing all types of mechanical things, continually upgrading my knowledge along the way, until I took advantage of the opportunity to acquire one appliance service company, Hattan’s Appliance Repair. This opportunity to work with Scott again, a trusted colleague, inspired me to look beyond the ability to service just one geographic market,” stated KJ Page.
Scott Sandie added, “KJ and I have such a trusted relationship because we handled different aspects of running a fairly large appliance store business for several years, and although we did not own that business, we did feel like owners in our approach to doing our respective jobs. The timing for bringing this all together seemed ideal since we are still both very motivated professionals.”
The service area initially covered by WorksAgain includes a 100 mile radius that spans the Greater Portland Metro region from Salem, Oregon to Vancouver, Washington, and from Sandy, Oregon to Banks, Oregon. The company’s objective is to always provide excellent service to its customers, regardless of where they’re located. The company plans to build a foundation from which to grow both its customer base as well as its market reach and eventually expand to the entire State of Oregon and elsewhere.
Although the WorksAgain team has always taken safety and cleanliness to the highest level, during the Covid-19 pandemic, it has exercised increased customer safety protocols including the mandatory wearing of masks and shoe covers and using hand sanitizer while working in its customer’s homes.
