Jim had seen many ways to grow tea, but what caught his attention during one of his many visits to China was how Chinese people grew their tea, long before the term “organic” was a buzzword.

Jim spent a considerable amount of time in China. Intrigued by the health and vitality of both young and elderly people in the Wuyi mountains, Jim began to understand why so much green tea was being consumed and was surprised to learn that green tea has a 5,000-year history of providing some pretty astounding health benefits.
The more he learned and explored, the more Jim became interested in manufacturing the perfect tea. Working with farmers and producers, he invented a system that allows for maximum health benefits, and he desired to pass these benefits to people across the US.
Jim Johnson developed AMICA from conception to today’s brand; he has a lifetime of experience traveling to some of the most revered tea-growing locations in the world.
When Jim first told David Stone about what he was working on, David knew he had to be part of it.
As a serial entrepreneur and always on-the-go, David felt that there weren’t enough natural ways for an energy and immunity boost.
David recently recovered from COVID-19. Although he only felt a little unwell and lost his sense of smell and taste, he firmly believes that drinking AMICA before and throughout his encounter with the virus helped him to stay healthy and quickly recover.
