Mr. Glick has served as the CEO, founder and director of several banks in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Ohio since starting his banking career four decades ago. He was a founding director of Insignia Bank in Sarasota, Florida, helping to organize the bank and faithfully serving on its board for 10 years. Then, he played an instrumental role in the $45.8 million recapitalization of the Bank of the Carolinas in Mocksville, NC where he served as Executive Chairman. Mr. Glick also served as President and CEO of Insight Bank in Worthington, Ohio, where his trusted leadership inspired a $200 million growth in assets.

Other notable achievements include the following: receiving the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, being appointed to the Banking Commission for the State of Ohio by Governor John Kasich, serving on the board of Carolina Financial/Crescom Bank and most recently, being elected to the Hollings Cancer Center Advisory Board of MUSC Charleston.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with the outstanding team at First Capital Bank,” says Harvey Glick, new CEO.

The Board of Directors and the First Capital Bank team ask the community to join them in wishing former CEO Frank Cole well as he embarks on his next chapter. Mr. Cole, with over 30 years of experience successfully leading community banks, will maintain his role as a director and committee member.

“I will always look back on my time as CEO fondly, with great pride in the growth our team accomplished,” says Frank Cole, former CEO. “I know that I’m leaving First Capital Bank in the most capable hands – and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
