JJack Productions Announces New Production “Ask a Cop”

In the latest production by JJack Productions, Officer Matt Thornton from Zion, IL challenges anti-police young adults to a game of one-on-one basketball to discuss their experiences with police

There’s a belief in the U.S. from many, specifically minorities, that all cops are “bad.” Unfortunately, this is a belief that has been adopted due to the broadcasting of police brutality videos on various online forums. While some police officers aren’t exactly following a code of ethics, statistics have shown the majority of police offers are dedicated to serving the public.

To help the general public have a better relationship with local police, JJack Productions has recently announced the release of a new production, Ask a Cop.

“In this production, Officer Matt Thornton, from Zion, Illinois challenges anti-police young adults to a game of one-on-one basketball,” stated JJack Productions spokesperson Cody Mennenoh. “During the game, he discusses the experiences they have had with the police in the past.”

Officer Thornton is responsible for starting the organization, My Father’s Business, and has partnered with Director Justin Jackola, and his company, JJack Productions to create the multi-part series, Ask a Cop. Throughout the series, Officer Thornton has honest and transparent conversations with local youth asking how the police have affected their lives and how they feel about the interactions they have had.

“You can watch the series now, with a new episode released on the third Tuesday of each month,” continued Mennenoh. “There will be a total of five episodes in this series.”
