Each class at Learn Watercolors delivers over 105 lessons and exercises, and teaches skills like color mixing, light & shadows, and perspective. Beginners can take the 30-lessons course, enjoy monthly painting challenges, and learn from the community too at the forum for help and feedback.

Among the watercolor painting tricks and ideas taught in classes are techniques like ‘wet on wet’, ‘wet on dry’ and glazing, sketching fast, using pencils and pen, and various styles of painting, such as the grisaille style, temperature contrast, funky approach, complimentary colors contrast and realistic. Previous lessons have included painting birds in six different styles and learning the difference between density and tone.
