Manchester, United Kingdom – Arriving just ahead of the holiday season, CardPop, a new UK based greeting card retailer have unveiled their range of 3D pop-up dinosaur cards. The cards are tailored to a range of special occasions, including birthdays, Halloween and Christmas.

CardPop’s Objective

UK based greetings card company, CardPop, are pleased to unveil their new range of speciality 3D pop-up dinosaur cards. The Jurassic themed cards feature an interesting 3D sculpture in their centre that springs up when they are opened. Purchased exclusively from the company’s website (https://cardpop.co.uk/dinosaur-birthday-card-thank-you-valentines-pop-up-grandson-boys-card-uk), buyers can expect a choice of dinosaur cards that feature a stegosaurus, t-rex or barosaurus.

CEO and founder, Christopher Hoole, oversees the design, production and manufacturing of the cards and believes their dinosaur range is a perfect fit for their 3D gifts. “Dinosaurs have captured imaginations for centuries, and we’re pleased to be able to bring these incredible creatures to life in our own special way.” Mr. Hoole goes onto say that “we want to offer something unique to our customers with a high level of quality at an affordable price.”

Christopher explains that their aim is to stand out from what he describes as a ‘stagnant industry.’ “We want to step away from the pack and really show what you can do with something as simple as a greetings card,” he said. “We only create products we would love to see ourselves and we’re confident our customers will appreciate their uniqueness.”

About The Dinosaur Cards

CardPop’s range of dinosaur cards come in a variety of colours, including blue, yellow and various brown tones. To begin with, each card cover is carefully imprinted with a detailed laser-cut design of the dinosaur. Once this is complete, the card is then finished by attaching a 3D structure of the dinosaur in the centre.

To create the card’s central 3D structure, CardPop’s craftsmen cut individual pieces of paper which are then carefully rearranged and hand-assembled. Once the 3D figures are built, they are then glued safely to the page so the scene can fold flat and avoid damage. The card also comes with a pull-out tab for handwritten messages. The construction takes influence from both origami and kirigami, ancient Japanese forms of paper folding.

The cards are priced at £5.88 and can be purchased directly from the CardPop website. Once a card is bought, they are packaged within a safe poly bag, alongside a fitted envelope.
