PNEUMAG and Kennco Join Forces to Offer New Ag Spraying Technology

Florida companies, Kennco Manufacturing, Inc. and Pioneer Ag Equipment, LLC, announce a new partnership to bring the latest technology in agricultural spraying to the market.

Florida farm equipment manufacturer Kennco Manufacturing, Inc. announces a partnership with Pioneer Ag Equipment to bring the latest technology in agricultural spraying to the market. The design and patent involve a new spray nozzle to use for low volume spraying that effectively saves users time and money on the spray application and on the costs of chemicals such as contact insecticides.

Designed and patented by Pioneer Ag Equipment Owner and Operator Rob Arnold, a successful citrus and blueberry grower for thirty years, the PNEUMAG nozzle helps growers to win the battle against pests, diseases, and increasing costs of both chemicals and labor. Arnold spent years in trials, perfecting and then patenting the nozzle, which produces precise spray droplet sizes in the range of 70 to 200 microns. Machined out of stainless steel, the nozzle is long-lasting, which saves the growers even more on replacement costs.

“After continually fighting pests and diseases in my groves and watching the costs of chemicals and labor skyrocket, I was determined to find a better, more effective way to spray, so I decided to create one,” said Arnold.

“The PNEUMAG nozzle is a product that is making my life easier and my crops more successful. With this spray nozzle, I’ve been able to successfully control Citrus Greening and other diseases, which has given me the confidence to plant additional acreage and aggressively reset existing groves, and I’m excited to see it do the same for other growers.”

After realizing he had a solution that many citrus growers could benefit from, Arnold brought his prototypes to Kennco Manufacturing, Inc., a leading farm equipment manufacturing company that has been designing and building agricultural equipment since 1973. Kennco builds all equipment locally in Ruskin, FL, and ships it worldwide. The company has earned a reputation for building quality equipment that lasts.

With Kennco’s design, manufacturing, and market reach, Arnold knew he could help the struggling Florida citrus industry by bringing his sprayer and patented nozzles to more growers. Currently, Kennco is manufacturing the PNEUMAG Sprayer and working with Arnold to provide demos to Florida customers.

“The PNEUMAG Sprayer is unlike any other in that it makes low volume spraying work,” said Brandy Evans, owner at Kennco Manufacturing. “This sprayer is highly versatile in that it can also be adjusted to work like a traditional sprayer and soak the plants. We are thrilled to partner with Rob and Pioneer Ag Equipment to bring this innovative product to the market.”

Other features of the PNEUMAG Sprayer include:

· Patented nozzles produce small particle size spray, which offers better penetration AND better coverage.

· Low volume option is a spray mix with lower water delivering a more concentrated spray material.

· Higher speed spraying – up to 5mph provides more coverage in less time.

· Higher concentrated spray mix means fewer stops to fill up the tank.

· 500-gallon tank can cover up to 25 acres.

· Angle wing air manifold is designed to get maximum airflow to penetrate dense trees and reach even the highest spots in the grove.

· Excellent for use with pesticides, nutritionals, and fungicides.

· Chassis is hot dipped galvanized to prevent rust and deterioration from chemicals.

· Kennco’s trusted warranty and service back every sprayer.

· Heavy-duty construction, built to last.

· Low maintenance because there’s no need to replace nozzles.
