Pure Energy’s main headquarters is in Brighton, but they serve all of the Metro Detroit, Southeast Michigan, and Greater Lansing areas. Their expansion to Southeast Michigan has been their latest endeavor, with the goal of bringing energy-efficient windows and doors to homeowners and residents across Michigan.

Pure Energy owners Matthew Masters and Adrian Beaver started Pure Energy in 2014 in Lansing, after having spent a combined 35 years in the business of replacement windows and home improvement. After working with homeowners and property managers throughout Michigan, they knew there was a better alternative to ordinary windows and doors. They started Pure Energy Window Company to provide superior-quality products.
For Masters and Beaver, window installation isn’t only about esthetic quality. It’s also about promoting energy efficiency.
The company sells and installs custom-made, energy-efficient windows, entry doors, storm doors, and patio doors. They also install attic insulation. All of Pure Energy’s windows are manufactured by Sunrise Windows in Temperance; Masters and Beaver say they can improve a home’s energy efficiency by 10 times or more, compared to the builder-grade windows that come installed in newly constructed homes.
Growth throughout Michigan
The company’s original Lansing location started with 10 employees. Now, they have over 80 employees. After upgrading to a space in New Hudson and operating from that location for a few years, Masters and Beaver still saw more room for growth.
In January 2020, Pure Energy bought the old Harley-Davidson building in Brighton, which has become the company’s current base of operations. In all, the space contains an installation dispatch center, offices, a telemarketing center, warehouse space, and other office amenities. From their Brighton location, Masters and Beaver have been able to grow their business even more, allowing them to expand across Southeast Michigan.

Pure Energy works with residential customers of all kinds, from individual homeowners to property managers. Many of their homeowner clients are retired, and want to invest in better windows that make their homes more energy-efficient. The company has also provided its custom window installation service to condominium associations, allowing co-owners to get better windows.
