The legacy property, Fundo Las Rosas, once owned by Douglas Tompkins, founder of The North Face, has been listed for sale by John Hayter, a broker with Ranch Marketing Associates, in conjunction with Fitzroy in Chile.
Fundo Los Rosas received its name due to the many roses and flowers found on the property. Today, the property consists of two parcels, totaling 209 hectares (516 acres) found along the Carretera Austral in the Patagonia Lakes region of Chile.
The farm is made up of beautifully restored orchards and cultivated grounds for growing fruits and vegetables along with native forests and grasslands.
