A new ERTC eligibility check tool launched by Scott Hall.co and ERTC Today now allows employers to determine if they qualify for tax rebates for 2020 and 2021.

—
The Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program has been amended to expand the eligibility requirements, and many small business owners who did not qualify for a rebate under the original requirements now do. This recently launched evaluation tool can determine an employer’s eligibility based on the answers provided to a few simple questions.

Employers who use the evaluation tool launched by Scott Hall and ERTC Today can request a consultation with an ERTC specialist if they are eligible for a rebate, to determine how much they can claim. Employers who qualify may claim as much as $26,000 per W-2 employee.
Businesses that have previously received funds through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) are still eligible for rebates, because of amendments made to the CARES Act by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021. While the PPP offered employers loans, the ERTC program provides one-time tax rebates that do not require repayment.
There are no restrictions on how employers may spend their tax rebates, and the program is also open to non-profit organizations, startups, and businesses founded during the pandemic. New companies may qualify as a Recovery Startup Business, which makes them eligible for up to $100,000 in rebates.
After completing the no-cost eligibility assessment, employers will receive a link to a secure server, where they can upload the required documents to complete their claim. They will be asked to upload their raw payroll data, PPP loan documents, and 941 returns, so the accounting team can maximize their rebate.
Employers with up to 500 full-time staff on average are eligible for rebates if they have suffered financial losses because of the pandemic, compared to previous years. Any business that was temporarily closed because of a lockdown or other government order is also eligible.
ERTC Today has a team of accounting professionals entirely dedicated to processing tax rebate claims, and refunds are processed daily. They specialize in helping small to medium-sized businesses claim their maximum allowable rebates.
