ERTC CARES Act Tax Credit Amendments Eligibility Check & Rebate Service Updated

A new eligibility assessment and fast rebate service launched by Kim Kersten Consulting and a firm of ERTC specialist CPAs allows business owners to benefit from the most recent updates to the ERTC program when claiming their pandemic relief funds.

Since the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program was first created with the CARES Act, it has been changed several times through the passing of various amendments. The new application process launched by Kim Kersten Consulting helps employers to maximize their benefits by taking advantage of all the most recent changes.

Major changes made to the program in the Consolidated Appropriations Act now allow employers to claim tax credits even if they have already applied for and received a PPP loan. The updated application process can help business owners to claim up to $26,000 per employee, with no restrictions on how the money can be spent, and no need for repayment.

After going through several new amendments, the ERTC program has expanded eligibility, allows for larger maximum claims, and was extended several times. Unfortunately, these changes have made it more difficult for employers to complete the paperwork required to file a claim, without the assistance of an ERTC specialist.

To determine if a company qualifies for rebates under the new amendments, employers can take a simple 10-question assessment, which does not require any proprietary business information. The assessment is available with no cost or obligation to any business with less than 500 full-time employees on average.

Startups, new businesses, and non-profit organizations, including churches, schools, and clinics, may all qualify for rebates with the updated application process. To be eligible, they must have either suffered financial losses during the pandemic, operated at a reduced capacity, or closed temporarily due to government orders, such as a lockdown.

New businesses founded during the pandemic may be eligible for up to $100,000 in rebates if they have gross receipts of less than $1 million, and at least one W-2 employee that is not a family member or 50% owner.

The updated fast rebate service guarantees each business their maximum allowable rebate, and all fees are entirely contingent on the program’s success. Any client that does not qualify for the ERTC program or does not receive a rebate, will not be charged.
