The launch coincides with a recent report from US medical institution the Cleveland Clinic. Although the practice of Reiki should not replace more traditional methods of care, they advocated for its supplementary use for patients dealing with chronic pain, trauma disorders and stress-related illnesses, as well as for an array of complex conditions like cancer, infertility and digestive problems.
With its origins in traditional Japanese healing, the Cleveland Clinic endorsed Reiki for its ability to bring on a meditative state that can stimulate the body’s immune system, promote natural self-healing and relieve pain and tension.
In Integrative Health Center’s 60-minute sessions, clients will experience the methodology’s distinct palm or hands-on energy healing technique, which focuses on areas of both physical and emotional concern in the body.
The clinic encourages new clients to schedule their first appointment on the new calendar on a day and at a time in which they can further relax and enjoy the benefits of the treatment afterwards.
